Hezi Grisaro's Research Group
Dr. Hezi Grisaro is an Assistant Professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering and Construction Management Division, and the Head of the Extreme Loads on Structures Lab (ELSL)
Hezi got his BSc (summa cum laude, 1st rank in class, 2008), MSc (summa cum laude, 2014) and PhD (2018) in structural engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He was a Lyon Sachs Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering, University of Toronto, Canada (2018-2020).
Hezi has academic and practical experience in designing and analyzing structures under extreme loads such as blast and impact. His research focuses on modeling the behavior of structures under extreme loads, and analysis of reinforced concrete structures, as well as experimental testing.
