We presented our research at the 6th International Conference of Protective Structures (ICPS6) which was held last week at Auburn University, Alabama, in the United States.

Dr. Hezi Grisaro presented an overview of a project on the response of wide-flange steel sections under close-in detonations, which was done together with Prof. Jeff Packer and Michael Seica. A brief review of our experimental study and numerical models was discussed.

Ola Wattad presented an interesting study of the response of structures protected with aluminum foams as sacrificial layers under blast loads, including new methodologies for testing their efficiency.
